Residents across Chester and the North West will make health their top priority this year thanks to the launch of a new company based at the Riverside Innovation Centre (RIC).
Green Pages opened its doors in an official ceremony at the end of May as part of a healthy eating day to promote its services.
The event, featuring local delis, farm shops, independent retailers, restaurants, caterers and wholesalers, provided information and healthy food samples for visitors to taste. As many as 60 guests and 10 exhibitors attended.
The digital company 'my green pages' provides health related information to members of the community and links to local health events, advice from health advisers, business listings and news and events.
The overall aim is to bring local businesses, individuals and networks together with a passion for healthy living.
Svitlana Bulava, who lives in Chester, decided to develop her business idea after attending a business boot camp at the RIC. "We are very grateful to all the exhibitors and healthy eating enthusiasts who came along to make the launch such a huge success," said Svitlana.
