Ellis & Co Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers took part in a 'top tax tips' seminar to neighbouring businesses based at Redwither Tower on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

The event, delivered by the North East Wales Strategic Business Parks Project, took place on Thursday, September 5. It also provided an ideal opportunity for members of the industrial estate to network in the Atrium Suite of Redwither Tower.

Businesses, support agencies and stakeholders were invited to bring pop-ups, flyers or brochures about their business and tables were made available to display marketing materials.

During the networking session, Ellis & Co's Tax Manager Peter Way-Rider provided a 20 minute presentation covering topics including cash ISAs to capitalising on your pension plans, saving tax when setting up in business, how to make use of the nursery voucher scheme and the Government's Cycle to Work scheme.

Peter said: "We urged anyone with a burning financial question to ask about anything from childcare to saving for retirement to come along.

"There was also an opportunity for businesses to ask questions at the end.

"The advice was of course entirely free of charge and I was also happy to discuss any tax related issues that the various businesses had."
