SPONSORSHIP SUCCESS: Our Accounts Senior Steve Chadwick (below) teamed up with centre player for Wales, Christiaan Roets, ahead of the game.

The team has sponsored schoolchildren to proudly parade around the pitch ahead of the highly-anticipated Wales Vs USA World Cup Rugby League World Cup game on Sunday, November 3.

More than 100 Year 3-6 pupils, who attend Borras Park Junior School, situated on Borras Park Road, Wrexham, will scrum together at Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium to watch the event.

Up to 10 Borras Park Junior School pupils have been chosen to wear a T Shirt sporting the Ellis & Co logo and will carry out the lap of honour alongside eight other schools in the region.

Ellis & Co, which usually tackles accountancy, tax and business matters, will also have the company logo emblazoned on sponsorship banners around the pitch.

"We're thrilled to be supporting the local community in this way and we're hopefully giving pupils life-long memories of their day at a Rugby League World Cup match," said Robert Ellis, the Principal Accountant at Ellis & Co.

"We only hope that Wales wins now to make their day even more special!

"As a company, we don't only offer accountancy services and business advice to people as we also strive to support businesses and communities wherever we can.

"Sporting events are very important when it comes to teaching pupils the rewards they can reap from such things as team work, motivation and hard work and so we're very pleased to be supporting Borras Park Junior School in this way."

Delighted Headteacher Brendan McDonald said: "We're thrilled that Ellis & Co chose to sponsor our school, especially at such a big event like the World Cup.

"Some of the children have been enjoying sessions with a rugby coach this term and so are very excited about going!"
