The prestigious West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner was held at The Chester Grosvenor last month.

The event, held on Friday 14th October, raised more than £5000 for charity Hand on Heart, which works to prevent the deaths of UK children to cardiac arrest.

Ellis & Co were proud to sponsor the Start-Up Business of the Year Award, won by Ellis & Co client, JS-PT Health Studio.

Jack Sullivan, founder of the company, served in the army for five years, completing stints in Afghanistan.

He started up JS-PT Health Studio in 2014, with the overriding goal to transform the lives of people struggling with movement problems, excruciating pain, low confidence, weight or sleep issues.

“We’re delighted to win this award for Start-Up Business of the Year,” Jack said.

“It means so much to be recognised for our work in the area.”

Jack has enlisted the help of John Farrell, Accounts Senior, and the team at Ellis & Co since the inception of his business.

He credits the team for all the help they have given him in growing his company.

“John and the team at Ellis & Co have been fantastic,” Jack said.

“They are always at the end of the phone to answer any queries and provide invaluable guidance.

“They’ve been with me every step of the way.”

The annual event featured a casino, together with spectacular dancefloor and Dee 106.3’s Gavin Matthews spinning the decks.

Colin Brew, CEO of West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce, said: “This year’s Chamber annual dinner and ball surpassed all expectations.

“Held in a fantastic setting, with great food and company, and lots of money raised for our worthy charity, Hand on Heart, it was a pleasure to see our members celebrate all their hard work and success over the last 12 months.”
