Ellis & Co Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers have expanded their Chester office by taking on two new members of staff.

Joining the team on Northgate Street are Claire Ireland, 39, and Natalie Tomlinson, 32.

Claire, has joined the team as Payroll Manager. Her duties include processing all aspects of payroll and pension requirements for clients.

Claire, who has over 15 years’ experience working in payroll, previously worked for GBG (Identity software company) on Chester Business Park, where she was fully responsible for the business’s payroll.

“I am enjoying my time at Ellis & Co. I am being kept very busy and I look forward to learning about the client’s needs,” said Claire, who lives in Farndon with her husband and two children.

“Working within an accounts office environment is a whole new experience for me as I have always previously worked for a company processing the payroll in house.”

Natalie has taken on the role of PR and Marketing Manager, and is responsible for maintaining Ellis & Co’s public relations. Her duties include writing press releases, liaising with the press, organising events and updating the website and social media pages.

An NCTJ qualified journalist, Natalie worked with one of the UK’s leading independent media groups NWN Media Ltd before moving into the ‘world of PR’ five years ago.

“My first few weeks here at Ellis & Co have been very busy indeed, there is so much going on,” said Natalie, who lives in Buckley with her husband and two young children.

“I am very happy to have joined such a great team. We’ve got some great events planned for 2017, so watch this space.”

Robert Ellis, Director of Ellis & Co added: “We are all delighted to welcome Claire and Natalie to our Chester office.

“They have settled in quickly and have already become valued members of the team.”
