The Chancellor of the Exchequer has announced the Budget will take place on Wednesday, November 6.
It is understood that in the event of a no deal Brexit there will be an ‘economic statement’, followed by a Budget in the ‘weeks thereafter’.
“This will be the first Budget after leaving the EU,” said The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sajid Javid.
“I will be setting out our plan to shape the economy for the future and triggering the start of our infrastructure revolution.
"This is the right and responsible thing to do – we must get on with governing.”*
