An established and successful business has been in even higher demand since the government put the UK into lockdown.
Chester based Business Reform Limited provides a unique end to end consultancy, advisory, project services and technology solutions service and is well placed to provide support and advice to businesses through these challenging times.
The team specialise in remote working, providing a range of solutions, bespoke applications and best practice to support this.
“We specialise in SharePoint and Intranet Sites and provide full consultancy, configuration, implementation, training and services to ensure you gain maximum benefit from Office 365 and SharePoint,” said managing director and founder Andy Brown.
“We deliver bespoke and functional branded SharePoint Online Intranet Sites which are perfect to aid online collaboration and delivery of projects, designed and implemented through set-up, testing, training, go-live and are also able to provide ongoing support and maintenance through our service desk support packages.”
Andy established the business in 2011, after a number of years of leading national procurement and implementing major delivery and organisational improvement and change programmes.
The companies’ seven employees all come from a variety of backgrounds, offering a diverse, highly skilled and experienced team.
“There is a real team spirit and determination in the business to stand out and offer a unique professional experience for our clients,” said Andy.
“Together, the team are constantly coming up with innovative ideas to service our clients and deliver value.”
The team, work with public and private sector organisations of all sizes across the UK, providing services including Virtual project Management Office (VPMO), Business development and management and Power BI.
Power BI, a business analytics service, provides real time data and visible dashboards to track data and performance, thus enabling businesses to monitor and make critical decisions that support continuous improvement.
“Data and insights can be shared across an organisation or embed in a website or app, with live dashboards and reports, that even feed directly to display screens in your business to monitor and drive performance,” said Andy.
Together the team has provided the systems and project management for a £62m National Clinical improvement programme across the UK.
They have also delivered a programme, and the commercials, to bring together four organisations, bidding for and winning a public sector contract, and then established, designed and managed the transition to a new legal entity for them with a turnover of circa £20m.
The team’s hard work was recently acknowledged by being awarded two national public sector frameworks by Cabinet Office Crown Commercial Service, to deliver Business Management Consultancy and G-Cloud 11 services for SharePoint solutions, fully branded and tailored Intranet sites, Power BI implementation and Office 365 IT support services.
Andy feels ‘particularly lucky’ to be working in an industry that he is so passionate about, and is very proud of Business Reform Limited and the team.
“I love seeing our team in action, when they arrive at a client, they mean business, oozing ideas and solutions,” said Andy.
“They are absolutely focussed on professional delivery, understanding the client and helping them achieve and exceed.
“To see the positive impact and contribution that we have made when our clients succeed is wholly satisfying.”
Andy admits that a lot of the team’s work comes from clients who have experienced challenges in their business, whether that be through changes in the business or having been let down by another provider.
“They need our help and have very short timescales,” said Andy.
“Project management is at the heart of everything we do, the team is very responsive and their breadth of experience and knowledge enable us to respond quickly, teasing out exactly what client’s need and providing recommendations and services to make it happen.”
Andy takes pride in the relationship between his team and his clients, one that is built on trust, which is the reason he has been with Ellis & Co since 2013.
“We needed an accountant who understood both the challenges and opportunities this presented as a rapidly growing business, one who had our best interests at heart and the expertise to advise and guide us,” said Andy.
“We feel our relationship with Ellis & Co goes further than a traditional supplier / client relationship and is built on trust and continuously delivering a great service, the team are great to work with on a personal level and they are on our business journey with us.
“Much like ourselves we believe this is important, it’s not just about what you deliver it is how you deliver it.
“Enabling your client to get on with their day to day business knowing they are in safe hands and that you constantly have their best interests at heart is important,” he added.
So what’s next for Business Reform Limited?
“This year we want to benefit more customers by telling them about what we can do and how we can help them, whether they are large or small,” said Andy.
“We are excited to be exhibiting at two national conferences this year, the P4Health Exhibition in Birmingham, and we are the Corporate Sponsor for the Health Care Supplies Association (HCSA) where we will be exhibiting and sponsoring an award to NHS procurement staff in Manchester.
“We are also looking at new premises to aid the growth of our technology solutions and support services, which seems to be in great demand,” he added.
